Metal Madness- Critters
Explore the available material to create critters- fantasy, robotic or natural. Skills include construction techniques, glueing, selection, testing the right materials, and creating a ‘personality’ for their critter..
Weaving a Nest
Explore the available material to create a nest. Skills include Basketry techniques, shaping. The second week students will look at adding a creature to the nest.
Sewing- making functional items from reusable material
Students will become familiar with basic sewing skills and machine sewing to construct a bag and a bookmark.
Jewellry Making
Using the extensive bead and button collection at the Remakery students will be guided through creating a jewelry piece suitable for their age and personal style. Suitable Threading techniques and fasteners will be skills learnt in this activity
Self directed choice
Students will be given the opportunity to revisit one of the techniques in this term and create new work. This will consolidate the knowledge and new skills learnt and allow students to develop their own expression.
7-15 yrs
Our activities are broad based skills that can be achieved by a wide range of students.

$12.50 per child per week. Please pay in cash each week. If you wish to pay the full term credit card or eftpos available.
