Braided bracelets can be used to give away as friendship gifts, or to wear on your wrist as a reminder of a positive mantra or focus.
The making of the bracelet is as simple as tying a few different knots and is a very calming process.
Come along and learn how to tie the knots, how different patterns can be formed, what materials can be used and how to follow grid instructions for more intricate patterns.
Bracelets can be made with very little expense, and all materials will be supplied for the workshop.

Learn the Japanese art of shibori dyeing. Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that typically involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing it in indigo.
Participants will receive tuition on the various techniques and will produce 4 different fabric examples , which can then be used as singular art works or used in other fabric art / sewing projects such as scrunchies , bags, quilts , table runners etc .
The final piece will be a scarf

Learn the fun art of hat burning also known as 'pyrography' . Students will be able to design their own hat and apply the design to the outside, inside or the surface of the hat rim. Learn about the different effects and tools to create line, shading and detail. A fun and creative skill that can also be applied to other surfaces. All materials and hat supplied.
