Come and join this beginner sewing class.
Sue will take you through the basics of constructing a simple tote bag over three weeks.
Each saturday you will gain simple skills to start you on your sewing journey.
Bring your sewing machine to learn more or use one of our machines.
All materials will be provided.

Come and join this beginner sewing class.
This class is for beginners who wish to learn basic skills on a sewing machine. Over these two saturday morning sessions you will learn to make:
Elastic waistband shorts
OR
Elastic waistband skirt.
Fabric will be provided but if you wish to bring your own fabric and pattern you will need:
Shorts: 1.5 metres
Shirt:2 metres
Woven fabrics to be used or a very stable thickish stretch.
Cottons,Elastic etc will be provided
Bring your sewing machine to learn more or use one of our machines.

Would you be interested in learning how to make your own ugly little monster doll?
You will learn to use the sewing machine hand stitching and simple knitting skills.
We are running classes all materials, supplied.
A basic knowledge of sewing and hand stitching would be helpful, but not essential.
Classes run for 2.5 hours.
Cost $60 including refreshments

During this fun and interactive workshop - come and learn the fine art of gardening and planting in a confined space. Create your own ecosystem allowing for creativity, diversity all while developing your own miniature garden. Choose from a wide range of plants and gain a deeper understanding of caring for your own little piece of paradise

10:00 am-12.00pm

Learn the fun art of hat burning also known as 'pyrography' . Students will be able to design their own hat and apply the design to the outside, inside or the surface of the hat rim. Learn about the different effects and tools to create line, shading and detail. A fun and creative skill that can also be applied to other surfaces. All materials and hat supplied.
